​Parents and Guardians will bring their children to the tent at the beginning of the day.  If your teacher or our greeter is not outside, just call us at 342-7250 or text us at 333-6551. (If its raining, call before you get out of your car)

All parents and guardians will be asked everyday if they did a COVID self check on themselves and their child at home.

Your child's temperature will also be taken daily.  If there temp is over 100.4, they will be sent home and cannot return back without a Doctors note.

At the end of the day, your teacher will be with her class waiting for you to pick up at dismissal. (You will be charged a late fee if your more than 15 minutes late)

If you come before or after dismissal and we are not under the tent, just call us! 

When your child enters the building, they will use hand sanitizer

Your child will find their name, and move it from home to school

Every child has their own cubby.  In the Wegman's bags are individual mats for each child to rest on.  3 year olds rest for 45 min, and 4 year olds rest for 30 minutes.

If you look at the bottom of the cubby, you'll see a letter link. Your child will have a picture associated with his/her name with the same sound as their name.  

In our classrooms, children have plenty of time to play.  We call this time "work time".  Kitchen and dramatic play, water table, toys, blocks, paint, books and puzzles just to name a few.  All toys are disinfected every day!

To cut down on germs, every child has their own sand box and art materials. (Crayons, scissors, markers, glue sticks and safety scissors)

We follow a schedule every day.

We are super friends when we are kind and follow rules.

Our tables are set up so that children are 6 feet away

Our rules are simple, we will be sending home a copy for you to use at home!

When we have a problem with a friend, we use problem solving ideas.

We spread out on the carpet so that we are 6 feet away from our friends

​Children play outside every day.  We have bikes, balls and all kinds of toys to play with!  We use hand sanitizer when we go out and when we return.  The playground is disinfected every day.  Please bring sneakers for your child!

Reminders: 
*If you are part of our EPK or UPK program, the RCSD has a strict attendance policy.  They will withdraw your child after 15 absences.  Please call 342-7250 or text 333-6551 if your child will be late or absent.

*If you are absent and your child sees a Doctor, bring in the note and we can call it excused.

*EPK and UPK are closed if the RCSD is closed for a holiday or any other closing including snow days. We will provide daycare during RCSD closings only.  (We do not offer day care for other closings ie. Charter schools or other districts.) 
We get messy, bring extra clothes to keep in your child's cubby.

*If you have a DSS subsidy, you can attend based o the perimeters of your NOD
General Info:

*Children are with a teacher at all times.

*We will only allow those on your authorized pick up list to pick up your child.  If there is someone new, please call us. (All pick up people must have ID and be over 18)

*Friendship supplies breakfast, lunch and a snack to your child.   Breakfast starts immediately when you class starts.  If your child misses breakfast, inform the greeter and we will get something for them to eat.  PLEASE do not bring in food from home.

*Keep your child's personal belongings at home. (Especially items that your child needs to sleep with) You can send in a very small blanket if you would like for rest, but it must fit in the Wegman's bag or it will be sent home. 

*If your child needs medication at school, call the office so we can get the proper authorization forms to you.

*If your child is ill or has an accident, we will fill out a detailed report for you. (if it is serious we will call you immediately)

*Our teachers are mandated child abuse reporters.  Please report all at home injuries to our greeter.

*Each family is responsible for a $15 registration fee.

*Friendship is closed on major holidays, we will remind you of these prior.
